I'm polyamorous, but I've been in a romantic but asexual relationship with someone ((my primary is a bisexual//demisexual cisgender female. I am a homoflexible bigender individual, born female, but comfortable with my physiological body))....and this comic means a lot to me. I had to fight with so many people all the time to convince them that the person I loved had made a valid lifestyle choice.

EVERY lifestyle choice is valid, so long as it does not harm children, does not harm animals, does not harm you yourself non-consensually, and does not harm other adults non-consensually.

No one has any right to judge another unless they are doing those four things. :\

For an added bonus: technically, I am and consider myself a "Two-Spirit" because of my native american heritage (Cherokee, raised by a Cherokee medicine woman), but it's a lesser known term than Bigender. Here, have some learning! <3 And thank YOU, comic author//authoress, for educating others about this topic. You are a very brave person and you deserve happiness and praise.

@Grace: thank you so much for your comment! i'm really sorry that you had to go through so much arguing to get people to understand your relationship.. it's such a frustrating thing to deal with. kudos to you for being understanding of the kind of relationship that your partner wanted though and not trying to force sex into the equation. A+

also i actually learned about two-spirit people in one of my women's studies classes!! i was really excited to learn about it because very few of my classes have covered gender topics outside of the binary. i was like YESS finally, a class that acknowledges other genders. i'm hoping that concepts like agender/bigender/two-spirit/etc continue to get introduced into more classes so that it can be a more normalized and accepted thing. it's odd to me that our society is so deadset on male and female being the only genders.
