I dunno. The issue here seems to lie more with the assumption that a male and a female can't be just friends.

@misea & @HermesChildOfRain: thanks guys!!

@SSBBrawler: LOL things are not that black and white? it's not like, there is only one issue here and it's cut and dry. there are multiple underlying issues in every single conversation i have brought up throughout this comic, but asexuality is undoubtedly one of the issues in all of them. in this conversation, gender issues are certainly involved. but there is also clearly an issue of people not understanding the concept of relationships without sex. and also the issue of other people deciding who i can or cannot be friends with based on my sexuality.
i do have to wonder what's with ur devil's advocate stance in relation to my comic tbh

@xLightsOutx: the comments on this comic arealso interesting- ssbrawler is challenging it! I think the fact that you have got people thinking and debating about asexuality and gender themes is almost more important than the outcome of the debate itself :)

@Sophi0900: hell yeah, debating is gr8 and i am fine with that. the thing i'm kind of confused about is debating is something i expect more from allosexual people, but ssbbrawler said on my first page that he was asexual. if you go to his profile, you can see that like literally the only time he has commented on this entire site in the past year is to express discomfort toward my comic. it's like, why dude, what's going on here? if you're asexual too, why is it making you uncomfortable that i'm talking about my very valid and real experiences as an asexual person? idk i just don't understand. like if my comic is making a fellow asexual person uncomfortable, i want to be told directly why. that's a concern, you know? my intention is not to make other asexual people feel uncomfortable.

@Samalamb: thank you!!
it is so odd LOL like idk, the concept of asexuality just seems really simple and easy to grasp but people sure do get hung up on it a lot

how cruel. asexual and aromatic isn't the same for one. and even then, it's the guy's choice, not theirs. i have a friend who's asexual, she'd been with her (pretty sexual) boyfriend for eight years, and it was never a problem. he liked her a lot, and the relationship, in his eyes, was about being with her on an intimate level that had nothing to do with his libido. he just loved her, the end.
